I was born in Mexico City from immigrant parents with mixed national and ethnic origins. Early on my life I was intrigued on why people move, the different implications of migration, and ethnic diversity.
I guess that is why I love travelling and learning how different and similar people from all over the world are. I have appreciated living in Mexico City, Austin and Montreal for their richness and diversity of origins, their food, colors, people and music. At the same time, I have testified how social and economic inequalities may lead to tensions between the rich and the poor, the native and the foreign or in terms of language and religion.
I am a fan of live music. On my free time I enjoy being outdoors and being active.
